Band Reviews & Testimonials
"Having a female vocalist made such a difference to the whole night. When they went into Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa it sounded completely authentic rather than a man straining to hit notes. Our female guests absolutely went for it and the dance floor was rammed from the moment those songs started. The Celestial are genuinely brilliant."

Wedding at Gosfield Hall
"We asked The Celestial to do our first dance and they absolutely nailed it. The whole thing felt perfect and both of us had tears. Then within about ten seconds of finishing that song they launched into something that pulled every single guest onto the floor. Entertainment first is exactly the right way to describe what they do."
— Laura H.
Wedding at Gaynes Park
"Our wedding was basically a Taylor Swift concert and we are absolutely not sorry about it. The Celestial did six of her songs and every single one sounded brilliant. The female vocalist was incredible and my friends completely lost it during Shake It Off. Could not have asked for a better night from start to finish."
— Beth & Ryan M.
Wedding at Crondon Park
"The Ed Sheeran acoustic set during the drinks reception was such a lovely touch. It was relaxed and beautiful and got everyone in exactly the right mood before the evening started. Then the full band came on and the energy just went to a completely different level. The Celestial understood exactly what we wanted from the whole day."
— Katie V.
Wedding at Park Farm Hotel
"What really struck us was how brilliant the male and female vocal combination sounded in person. We'd seen videos but nothing really prepares you for it live. They played off each other all night and it gave every song a completely different energy to a standard wedding band. The Celestial were genuinely sensational and we'd book them every time."
— Zoe & Ben C.
Wedding at Leez Priory
"My mum wanted Shania Twain and I wanted Dua Lipa and somehow The Celestial delivered both perfectly in the same set. Man I Feel Like a Woman had my mum on the floor in about three seconds flat and Levitating did exactly the same for my friends. Getting both in one band is a real achievement."
— Natasha T.
Wedding at Hedingham Castle
"Honestly everything about working with The Celestial from the initial booking right through to the last song of the night was brilliant. Responsive and friendly throughout and on the day completely professional. They set up without any fuss and then played a stunning two hours of music. Our guests did not sit down once. Cannot recommend them enough."
— Amy & Joe K.
Wedding at The Barn at Bury Court
"What Jamie said about entertainment over musicianship really stuck with us when we were choosing the band and seeing it in action was something else. The Celestial just want everyone to have the best time and you feel that in every song. The guests who said they don't dance were all up by nine o'clock. Phenomenal."

About
The Celestial
The Celestial are a four piece wedding and function band from Essex and the only act on the Artist Republic roster with both male and female lead vocalists as a standard included feature. Having a female vocalist changes everything. Not because of the voice itself but because of what it unlocks in the repertoire. Taylor Swift Dua Lipa Beyonce Shania Twain Whitney Houston Dolly Parton and Sabrina Carpenter are all performed convincingly at full range without compromise.
Lead vocalist Jamie articulates the band's philosophy directly: they are interested in entertainment over musicianship. In a market full of bands leading with their technical credentials that is an honest and commercially astute position and it shows in how they perform. The dancefloor is the priority and the repertoire is built around making that happen.
Their setlist is one of the most extensive on the roster covering pop rock country soul dance indie and folk. The female artist content is particularly strong with multiple tracks from Taylor Swift Dua Lipa and Shania Twain alongside material from Beyonce Adele Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton. A 60 minute acoustic set is available covering artists including Ed Sheeran and Adele. Live first dances can be learned for out of repertoire songs with 60 days notice required and a £100 fee. Based in Witham Essex they cover the South East and Midlands and are available for international bookings.
