The Indianas
The Indianas are a four piece wedding and function band from Birmingham and the most sonically complete four piece configuration on the Artist Republic roster. Their fourth member plays both saxophone and keyboards giving the band the horn led sound and visual impact of a saxophone act alongside the harmonic depth of a keyboard player simultaneously.
Their repertoire spans pop rock indie Motown soul and dance. The Motown and soul content is among the most convincingly delivered on the roster thanks to the instrumentation. Tracks like September by Earth Wind and Fire, Superstition by Stevie Wonder, Never Too Much by Luther Vandross and Proud Mary are natural showcases for the saxophone.
Based in Birmingham The Indianas cover the Midlands South Yorkshire the North West and Wales and are available for international bookings. Unique on the roster they offer a solo saxophone daytime option for drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts as well as acoustic guitar and swing set options for full day coverage. Please note that The Indianas do not offer a live first dance service.
